In a personal letter to Mr. Kloss, Mr. Dickens congratulated him on his enterprising production, calling the ballet “a brilliant interpretation, a very happy occasion. Born in Philadelphia, Mr. Kloss was a principal dancer with The Philadelphia Ballet for 15 years where he had numerous roles created on him.
