Join us for this celebrated holiday tradition! A Christmas Carol is based on the Charles Dickens classic. It is Christmas Eve, when the crotchety and cruel Ebenezer Scrooge is visited by the ghost of his old business partner, Jacob Marley. Marley warns Scrooge of the spirits to follow and to take heed of what is to come. The Ghost of Christmas Past and Present show Scrooge the carefree child he once was, and how money and life have hardened his soul. Once he is visited by the Ghost of Christmas Future, Scrooge learns the fate that awaits him, should he not change his ways and let the joy of Christmas into his heart.
Auditions will be held at the Stadium Theatre Performing Arts Centre, located at 28 Monument Square in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, on Sunday, August 24 at 2:00 pm and Monday, August 25 at 6:00 pm with callbacks on Wednesday, August 27 if needed. Please register no later than Saturday, August 23. Once registered, you will receive a confirmation email. All roles are open with the exception of Scrooge.
Please bring an actor resume and headshot to be submitted to the production crew. All those auditioning should prepare a monologue under one minute in length and prepare a holiday carol to sing. Please remember to bring your sheet music with you to the audition. There is no age requirement.
Rehearsals: Tuesday/Thursday evenings 6-9 pm & Sunday afternoons 2-5 pm, 2025, starting on Tuesday, September 9th.
Tech Rehearsals: Saturday, December 6th – Thursday, December 11th, 2025
