We are seeking a dynamic cast of triple-threat performers to breathe life into this iconic show. The audition will be designed to evaluate dancing skills, acting, and vocal strength. We aspire to create a production that remains true to Michael Bennett's original vision, featuring fresh choreography while retaining some iconic moments. Our goal is to preserve the overall spirit and style of the show, set in its intended period and performed as written. The choreography will blend original Broadway from Michael Bennett and Bob Avian with innovative new ideas, honoring both the past and the future!
We encourage a diverse casting that includes performers of mixed ethnicities and ages. All roles are open to all ethnicities, genders, and people; unless specified otherwise.
We approach auditions with an additive perspective rather than an eliminative one. This means we are eager to discover your unique talents and how you can contribute to the show. There's no need to feel nervous—we will concentrate on the positive aspects of your performance. Embrace the process and enjoy!
Rehearsals
Rehearsals will be on Mondays, Thursdays, and Sundays, with the addition of Tuesdays starting in January.
Please note that not everyone will be called for every session.

Audition Details
A Chorus Line features many adult themes, including sex, drug use, drinking, profanity, and intimacy between characters. All actors must be at least 16 years old at the time of auditions. Actors under the age of 18 who are cast in the show will need a parent or legal guardian to sign a consent form in order to participate in the production.
• Please prepare 32 bars of a song in the style of the show.
• An accompanist will be provided. Please bring sheet music.
• There will be a Jazz dance combination taught to all auditioners (except Zach)
• A tap combination will be taught for all those auditioning for Mike and the small featured tap ensemble. (Tap is not required for all actors.)
• You are encouraged to bring your theatrical resume, but not required.
• A photo and/or video may be taken at auditions.
• Auditioners who are called back will be asked to sing provided cuts from the show, read, and do a second dance call.
