About this Event
Spend an evening with our Dean, Chef Craig Youdale, as he curates a 5 course meal and reception that takes you on a journey of a dynamic and expansive 40 year career. The evening will be paired with some amazing wine that has been sourced by our own Wine Professor, and one of Canada’s most respected wine educators, Peter Rod. The evening will be filled with great food, wine, cocktails, music and a few special surprises! The event will be supported by students and staff from our Benchmark Team led by Victor Oliviera and Chef Justin Downes.
The evening will also be the launch of a new Student Experience and Engagement Award for the Culinary Tourism and Beverage Division. This award will support student engagement and activity outside the classroom and labs, from celebrating our students in Benchmark, to students that focus on volunteering for charitable activities and supporting special events. The evening will also have a silent auction to support the Award.
*The dinner is an array of specially crafted dishes from Chef Craig’s culinary past. There will be an opportunity to have a Vegan option, and only severe allergy changes will be considered.
