We have a concert next month: on Sunday 14th December 2025 at 4:00pm for just over an hour, at The Court Room, Stamford Town Hall. It is a delightful room if you don't know it - on the first floor, with lift access. Benjamin Britten’s cycle for Upper Voices and harp, A Ceremony of Carols, is the major work on the programme, and typically for St Martin's Singers, there is a varied programme of the familiar and unfamiliar: a carol from the Master of the King’s Music, traditional Christmas songs from around the world (arranged by Malcolm Sargent, freeman of Stamford) and popular classics. We will be joined by Rowena Bass harp and Cassie Pattinson viola. The full programme can be found on the ticket page.Nearby parking is at Bath Row Car Park, PE9 2QY, then walk towards the road bridge and cut left through St Mary’s Passage.
This is the choir's 20th Anniversary, and this will be our 33rd concert, and I think we can be proud of all of them. There is a gallery of all our events since 2005 here. Wow! It is a lot:
