The Tennessee Archive of Moving Image & Sound (TAMIS) presents a multi-day celebration of women in old-time music., Thursday, March 5–Sunday, March 8!Enjoy FREE live performances from the legendary singer-songwriter Alice Gerrard and other artists, film screenings, book talks, and a live recording of “The Female Bob Dylan” podcast.
The celebration is being held at venues across Knoxville in conjunction with the Birthplace of Country Music Museum’s exhibition I’ve Endured: Women in Old-Time Music, now on display at the Museum of East Tennessee History.
