About this Event
The Hip Hop Museum, located in the birthplace of the genre, the Bronx, was co-founded by Executive Director Rocky Bucano. This dynamic 55,000 square feet space, slated to open late 2025, will safeguard, celebrate, and educate the world about Hip Hop's rich cultural heritage and artistic contributions. The museum will feature immersive experiences, activities, and exhibitions that encourage public engagement and creative exploration of Hip Hop culture. In recognition of Hip Hop history month, there will be a celebratory discussion about the compelling history of Hip Hop and the journey that led to this historic moment of preserving this life-changing global culture. Join us as we recount the years of dedication that led to celebrating one of the world’s most transformative genres of music and culture.
