Rose's Canberra connections run deep, having grown up in Cook and attended school in Braddon. She has grown life-long friends and community supporters in awe of her drive and compassion, her humility and her bold thinking that has set the benchmark for malaria treatment, and antenatal care for women living in remote village settings on the border between Thailand and Myanmar. From Canberra to the Crossing Point, its an incredible story.
The Dr Rose McGready Foundation is in its second year of fundraising to support Rose's work - hear how donations from Australia made a difference in 2023, and how you can help in 2024!
Drinks and canapes from 5.30pm for a 6pm start. Meet us in the Lobby at the Kambri Cultural Centre, before we head into the Manning Clark Hall for the interview and presentation.
