A Brother’s Revival is a dynamic Southern rock ensemble led by bassist David “Rook” Goldflies, renowned for his tenure with the Allman Brothers Band. Goldflies contributed to three of the band’s albums—Enlightened Rogues, Reach for the Sky, and Brothers of the Road—and was part of the Grammy-nominated instrumental “Pegasus” from Enlightened Rogues.
Formed in 2019, A Brother’s Revival was conceived to honor the legacy of the Allman Brothers Band. The group delivers authentic renditions of classics like “Whipping Post,” “Statesboro Blues,” “Jessica,” and “In Memory of Elizabeth Reed,” capturing the improvisational spirit of the original band.
