Join us for an evening of dance, food, and merriment at a formal masquerade ball in the style and spirit of the Bridgerton and Queen Charlotte television series! Enjoy an evening of dancing, live music by a string trio, laughter, and light refreshments at our masked ball!
Dancing: all dances are accessible to beginners and will be taught and led by professional caller Susan de Guardiola! Attendance at the afternoon workshop (free with ball ticket) or some of the pre-ball classes is recommended but not required.
Ball tickets include your own souvenir dance card and light refreshments. Photo packages with our professional photographer available for a separate fee. Tickets available in the shop on our website:
https://bridgerball.dreamhosters.com/
Attendance will be strictly limited to 50 people only so we have space to dance!
Dress: fantastical-historical costume inspired by the style of the late 18th to early 19th centuries. The smaller silhouette of early 19th century gowns make them easier to dance in, but if you want to go full Queen Charlotte, we will be thrilled and admiring!! Masks for the first part of the evening - we will un-mask late in the event. Please bring clean, indoor-only shoes to protect the dance floor. Flat or low-heeled with leather soles will be easiest for dancing. No spike heels! See our dress code page for details!
A Bridgerton Masquerade is sponsored by The NJ/NY Costumers' Guild, a.k.a. The Sick Pups, a registered non-profit amateur group dedicated to the educational and social nature of all types of costuming.
