The holidays are often not the joyful time they are marketed to be~ that we long for them to be. This candlelit service is a space to hold anything that makes our hearts tender, that pulls us away from our joy in the birth of Jesus, our Savior. Carefully chosen readings, a litany of remembrance, hanging stars on a memorial tree (or to lift our prayers to God) and Holy Communion are all ways to draw nearer to the peace and love of the Holy.
