About this Event
Who Told You Your Black Is Not Beautiful? is more than a virtual film installation—it’s a movement.
For years, I questioned my beauty, my worth, and the space I was allowed to take up in this world. The whispers of colorism, the unspoken biases, and the world’s narrow definition of beauty weighed on me. But through storytelling, art, and community, I found my voice—I found my power.
That’s why I created this immersive virtual experience—to honor the stories of Black women, to challenge beauty standards, and to create a space for healing, reflection, and celebration.
✨ What to Expect:
Ten immersive rooms filled with raw, unfiltered stories of identity, colorism, and self- love
Interactive Empathy Mirrors for self-reflection and personal growth
A stunning Afrocentric Art Gallery showcasing Black women in all their beauty, with artwork available for purchase
A safe space for healing and transformation
