2022 marks the 100th anniversary of the publication of James Joyce’s Ulysses by Sylvia Beach’s Shakespeare and Company.Ulysses takes place on a single day--June 16, 1904, the date of Joyce’s first outing with his wife-to-be, Nora Barnacle. Named after Ulysses protagonist Leopold Bloom and his wife Molly, Bloomsday is an annual global celebration of the life and work of James Joyce.
