Glenn Siegel, like many of his generation, was inspired at a very early age by the great rock legends of our time. Glenn gives an energizing solo performance of The Who’s Tommy in a special fundraiser for LBC music education programs, which serve 50,000 students and teachers annually.Influenced by the large and diverse body of great music from the modern era, Glenn’s songs have a strong focus on melody and meaningful lyrics. He has performed hundreds of songs in performances in North America, South America, and Europe. And the songs continue to flow.
For nearly four decades, education and engagement have been central to the mission of Luther Burbank Center for the Arts. Through its Education & Community Engagement programs, the LBC strives to enrich the lives of the students and teachers in our schools, as well as our community members, through a variety of music education experiences. From School Shows that feature a range of genres (classical, jazz, Hip Hop, and world music) to artist residencies, a free instrument lending library, and after-school Mariachi classes and summer camps, LBC can continue to expand access to free and low-cost music and music education for school children throughout the North Bay.
This show is a fundraiser for LBC music education programs serving 50,000 students and teachers every year.
