A Beautiful Walk: BE THE LIGHT

As the days grow shorter and daylight savings arrives, Be The Light invites our community to slow down, gather, and remind each other that we are not alone in this season. Through art, movement, writing, and presence, we’ll hold space for joy and build memories that keep us warm through the darker months.

Hosted at the Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA), the afternoon includes a guided walk, an affirmation and journaling workshop, a fireside chat with Jeneé Osterheldt and Samantha Rivera, and a grounding soundbath to close.

This gathering is a reminder to walk in your light through the darker seasons, lean on community when it feels heavy, and remember the light within.

Info: Guests arrive and get situated for an afternoon of light, reflection, and connection.

Info: Attendees split into 5 groups of 10 for reflective routes through the ICA guided by Walk Leads.

Info: Guests return to the Barbara Lee Family Foundation Theater for refreshments and transition into the main program.

Info: With Jeneé Osterheldt & Samantha Rivera — a conversation on creativity, community care, walking in your light, and being the light through the darker seasons.

Info: Write a postcard to your future self for darker days and an affirmation to share with another attendee to the sounds of a healing sound bath by AER.
