A Beat Happening is a free, monthly, all ages, all genres, all identity inclusive music producer and DJ showcase based in Portland, Oregon. For the May 2024 edition of our 7 year anniversary series, we’ll be hosting a live concert at our new home L'Atelier Yaffe with audio and video support by EXT.606 recording studio.Featuring a stacked lineup of local beatmakers and DJs curated with a mix of new folks and alumni of previous ABH events over the last six years. The show will feature a DJ set by Cay Horiuchi and performances by producers Yunsumz (beats), CHIXY GUAP (beats), LIMANJAYA (beats), sxlxmxn (beats) and RAINEZRA (beats). Hosted by Luvjonez and Free Tillman.
