We’d love to invite you to our Gospel Service at Birchwood Breakthrough Centre on Saturday 4th May at 6pm where we will be joined by evangelist and ordained Elim minister Trudy Makepeace who will share her incredible journey with us.Trudy has a remarkable story of transformation and describes herself as a former addict and ex-offender turned minister, missionary and author. Her first book “Abused. Addicted Free” is about her life journey overcoming abuse, addiction and crime.

“He grabbed my throat with one hand and pushed the edge of a blade to my neck with the other. “One wrong move and I’ll cut your throat!” I felt the cold edge of the knife against my flesh. I shivered as he pushed the tip deeper into my skin. “Who do you think you are?” he shouted. Fear gripped my heart as he traced the blade across my throat; it could all be over in seconds.
