🚙 Hey Chicagoland Jeepers! 🚙We’ve got an exciting gravel drive planned through our beautiful home state, and we’d love for you to join us!
📍 Route Overview:
We’ll be cruising about 60 miles, so expect a few hours of driving. This isn’t a race—it’s an adventure! Let’s enjoy the scenery, the company, and the open (gravel) road together.
🌽 What to Expect:
A scenic drive through Illinois cornfields
Plenty of chances to connect with fellow Jeepers
Some light off-road fun—nothing too crazy
We'll be using walkie-talkies for comms (channel will be announced at the meetup)
🕘 Schedule:
Meet-up Time: 9:00 AM
Departure: Between 9:30 and 9:45 AM
Start Location: White Oak Campground, 1398 N River Rd, Oregon, IL 61061
End Location: White Pines Forest State Park
🏕️ Camping Option:
Want to camp the night before? Lowden State Park offers year-round camping and is right nearby! If you’re camping out, let us know so we can all set up together—maybe even enjoy a pre-drive hangout.

🙌 Be respectful of locals and each other
🌊 Don’t blast through water crossings
🚗 Keep a safe following distance—no cracked windshields from flying rocks!
