About this Event
A 5K for Men’s Mental Health
Date: Monday, November 18th
Time: 6:30 PM
Location: Meet at the Hood Milk Bottle, finish at The Playwright (South Boston)
About the Event
Join us for a community 5K dedicated to raising awareness for men’s mental health.
This event isn’t just about running—it’s about showing up, starting conversations, and building connections.
We’ll meet at the Hood Milk Bottle and take off together on a group run, ending at The Playwright for an open discussion and social gathering.
For those who’d like to participate in the group discussion, tickets will be available here.
Proceeds from discussion tickets go directly to Movember.
The Discussion
After the run, we’ll gather in a men-only space designed to encourage openness, honesty, and vulnerability.
This discussion is an opportunity for men to speak freely about mental health, life’s challenges, and the power of connection.
Creating safe spaces like this is crucial—because being a man doesn’t mean being unbreakable.
The Social
When we arrive at The Playwright, the front bar will be open to the public.
Grab a drink, connect, and support the cause. Book a reservation to secure your table for dinner here: https://www.opentable.com/r/the-playwright-south-boston
Why It Matters
Healing starts with honesty, and it grows between one man and another who says, “Yeah, I’ve been there too.”
Because connection saves lives.
You are not alone. You never were.
