9th November Linford barrows, CarnalbannaghThis upland grassland site is situated on the open glens of the North Coast near Ballygally. The carpark is a large open Stonewalled carpark. Please dress suitably for open site with no shelter. It is November so rain, colder temps and wind is a possibility.
Please follow directions carefully as once you leave Broughshane and enter open countryside it becomes several turns on to smaller country roads.
Travel to Ballymena and take the A42 to Broughshane. Pass through the town and until you come to a crossroads. The A42 continues left but you stop and take the 2nd turn Lisles Hill Road, Signposted for Carnalbanagh Drive straight for 9.4miles to a righthand turn on the Deerpark Road. Follow for 1.2miles and turn left onto Drumcrow Road. Follow for 2.5miles going round a hairpin bend and at the junction turn Right onto Feystown Road. Keep straight. The carpark for Linford Barrows is on your right with a Cattlegrid after 1.7miles.
