South Texas Book Festival is a FREE event featuring a diverse group of national, regional and local authors who will participate in readings, panel discussions, and book signings. Attendees can expect a safe, fun atmosphere with an activity tent, performances by PSJA Early College HS conjunto group Los PoderOsos, animal shows by Contact Animal, FREE book giveaway for youth, and more!
Our featured authors / presenters are: Reyna Grande, Sergio Troncoso, David Bowles, Cody Wagner, Guadalupe Garcia-McCall, Xavier Garza, Jennifer Ziegler, Kat Fajardo, Adrianna Cuevas, Jasminne Mendez, e.E. Charlton-Trujillo, Diana Lopez, Chris Barton, C.C. Myers, Dimple Desai, Leonie Waithman, and Rudy Ruiz.
Marco's Pizza will be on hand with delicious slices of cheese or pepperoni pizza ($2.50), fountain sodas ($2.00), 16 oz. slushes ($2.50), caramel apples ($3.00), candy apples ($3.00), and Halloween cookies ($1.50). Cash and credit cards will be accepted!
