9th Annual Jim McLean Junior Open

Dear Participants and Families,

We are pleased to officially welcome you to the 2025 Jim McLean Junior Open Tournament, taking place on Sunday, October 12th, 2025.

Registration

Registration is now open and will close on Saturday, October 4th. The official list of tee times and tournament rules will be released on Thursday, October 9th, 2025.

Cancellation Policy

No refunds will be issued after registration. Unless for weather reschedule.

Caddy Policy

Caddies are permitted in all divisions of the tournament. Each caddie is expected to demonstrate a fundamental knowledge of the Rules of Golf and proper on-course etiquette.

Caddies may assist players with essential duties such as carrying the bag, managing equipment, and supporting pace of play. However, caddies are strictly prohibited from providing instruction or coaching on golf technique, strategy, or decision-making during play.

Maintaining pace of play is a primary responsibility. Any actions that disrupt the flow of the round or violate these guidelines may result in penalties, including the potential disqualification of the player.

Parent & Spectator Guidelines

• Parents and friends may help search for lost balls.
• All are encouraged to assist with maintaining pace of play.

Age Divisions

• Ages 6–8: 3 holes (220 total yards)
• Ages 9–11: 6 holes (1,040 total yards)
• Ages 12–14: 9 holes (2,213 total yards)
• Ages 15–17: 9 holes (2,811 total yards)

Arrival

Please arrive 45 minutes to 1 hour before your scheduled tee time to allow time for warm-up and completion of the Drive, Chip & Putt activities.

Cart Rentals & Chaperones

Golf carts are available for those with physical disabilities. Spectators may walk with the group and observe from the cart path.

What to Bring

Junior golfers should bring clubs, balls, and tees. Water and snacks will be provided at registration, but water availability on the course will be limited—please plan accordingly. Laser rangefinders are allowed (slope mode must be turned off).

Drive, Chip & Putt

These activities should be completed at least 20 minutes prior to your tee time and will take approximately 10 minutes.

Raffle Fundraiser

A raffle will be held to support the Junior Open and other junior golf programs. Each participant will receive one free ticket, with additional tickets available for purchase (cash only). Tickets will be available at the registration table:

• $1 = 1 ticket
• $5 = 7 tickets
• $10 = 15 tickets
• $15 = 25 tickets
• $20 = 40 tickets

Winners will be announced during the awards ceremony. Must be present to win.

Please note: You may only win one prize, regardless of how many tickets you purchase.

Awards

Prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers in each age group. Additional awards will be presented to the top three in each Drive, Chip & Putt category.

Banquet

An awards banquet will be held following the tournament. Each participant’s banquet ticket is included in the registration fee. Additional tickets for friends and family are available for $35 per person. Banquet tickets can be updated at registration.

Weather Policy

In the case of inclement weather, tee times may be delayed. Play will continue unless lightning is present. In the event of a rainout, the tournament will be rescheduled. If you cannot attend the new date, your registration fee will be refunded.
