The 9th Annual Dare to Scare 5K and Sweet Treat Fun Run will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025. The race begins at the Coastal Studies Institute in Wanchese and concludes at the Virginia S. Tillett Community Center. Proceeds from this race benefit our annual Christmas program and Outer Banks Go Far. Dress in your spooky attire and run 3.1 miles on the Marshall and Gussie Collins Walkway.
5K starts at 8AM at Coastal Studies Institute, Shuttle to CSI provided.
Sweet Treat Fun Run starts at 9AM at the Virginia S. Tillett Community Center.
