It has been NINE YEARS that the Trail Creek Watershed Partnership has hosted the Creekness Stakes Canoe Race. Your support over those nine years have given approximately 5000 Michigan City Area Schools students an opportunity to learn about the ecology of Trail Creek and Lake Michigan and experience the beauty of our Creek firsthand. Please continue to support the important environmental education event that is Trail Creek Week. 100% of the proceeds of the Creekness Stakes goes to support the Trail Creek Watershed Partnership's work on Trail Creek.
