Celebrate 9 Years of Point Lookout Yoga with us! Join us on our 9th Anniversary for a donation-based outdoor Yoga class that will be co-taught by our past and present instructors. Our instructors will guide you through a series of 108 sun salutations followed by a meditation. Our salutations will be modified and accessible to all. We welcome you to come whenever you can, but please register in advance.Following our yoga class we will enjoy a sunset celebration as a community - we invite you to bring your own snacks, refreshments, blankets + beach chairs.
This class will be held at the ball field in Point Lookout located at the very east end of Lido Blvd. - limited parking is available at the field and other parking is available on Lido Blvd. and side streets. *Please note Yoga class will be held on back ball field.
Please bring a large towel and/or Yoga mat for your practice. Pre-registration is requested. Donations will be made to our Non Profit Organization, Joyful Community, and will be used for funding future community-based projects to address food insufficiency.
Donations can be made at the event by check payable to Joyful Communities, cash, or any of the following requested items which will be donated to the Long Beach Soup Kitchen:
small bottles of vegetable oil
small juice boxes
individual snack size bags of cookies/chips
salad dressing
chicken/beef stock
chef boyardee
spam
sardines
1 lb boxes of white rice
