Duration: 60 - 90 minutes (Session time will vary depending on the theme/journey.)

To get the most out of your session:
- Ensure you don’t eat a heavy meal 1-2 hours before the session
- Avoid caffeine 2-3 hours before the session
- Bring a yoga mat and suitable clothing for outdoors in Abu Dhabi at this time.

IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CONTRAINDICATIONS

Is this session suitable for everyone? If you suffer from any of the following, we recommend that you speak with your Medical Practitioner before participating in this form of Somatic Release Breathwork

• Slow or fast heart rate (resting rate over 100 BPM is considered high)

• Pregnancy or might be pregnant.

• Low or high blood pressure (140/90 is considered high)

• Severe mental health conditions or suffering from schizophrenia, psychosis, or paranoia, bipolar and/or an untreated or inadequately supported mental illness.

• Any other medical, psychiatric, or physical conditions that would impair or affect your ability to engage in activities involving intense physical and/or emotional release.

• Currently taking heavy-duty Medic*tion that alters brain chemistry (anti-depressant, anti-anxiety, anti-psychotic).

• Detached retina or glaucoma (a condition involving the optic nerve.

• Recent physical injuries, fractures and/or surgeries/or upcoming surgeries

• Osteoporosis (decreased bone density)

• Epileptic seizures/other seizures in the past

• History or diagnosis of aneurysms

• Cardiovascular problems

• History of seizures

• Severe Asthma

• Heart disease

• Heart conditions

• Diabetes

NOTE: The above list is not exhaustive, therefore please update the breathwork coach if you have any unusual health condition that does not appear in the above list, and you may need to consult a doctor before participating in a breathing session that activates the sympathetic nervous system. If in doubt, please get in touch as we can look at modifying the breathing technique for you.
