About this Event
For the present the maximum attendance at any Mass will be 100 people. The 2m rule is remaining in force at present. We will open 30 minutes before each Mass. Remember to bring a face covering.
Please continue to register for Mass as this facilitates track & trace. This will be reviewed as soon as we can.
There is no fixed maximum attendance for liturgies, but must still observe social distancing and continue to wear face masks. We can accommodate at least 100 people in St John’s and 75 people in St Mary Magdalene’s (possibly a little more—it depends on how many families/groups are present) at each Mass. On Monday 19th July Scotland moved to Level 0 and we can move to 1m distancing between household groups from that date. This will increase our capacity a little.
Please arrive at least ten minutes before Mass, so there is time to check your name. Congregational singing in church is now permitted though face coverings are still required.
Track & Trace: We must record the names and contact details of all attendees to pass on to the NHS in the event of an outbreak in a parish. It would make sense and help us if you came with this already prepared on a piece of paper that you could drop into a box. It would facilitate quick access into the Church. The information will be only used to contact you should there be someone in the congregation at the same Mass who developed symptoms of the virus.
BOOKINGS CLOSE AT 4pm ON FRIDAY EACH WEEK.
In fairness to others - please book for ONLY ONE MASS ahead of time - if you book for a second Mass before you have attended the first one - the first booking will be cancelled. Thank you.
