If you pine for the days of Garth Brooks, and Brooks & Dunn cowboy-rock-star style performances, if you get nostalgic about the pure female vocals and songwriting sass of the likes of Patty Loveless, Jo Dee Messina and Mary Chapin Carpenter, or if you find yourself singing along at the top of your lungs to George Strait and Dwight Yoakum on the radio, then you’ll be thrilled to hear that Idaho band, Neon Moon, is playing all of those songs for you and more in one night of hard-hitting country and western played just like you remember it at the rodeo dances, dusty dancehalls and saloons of that iconic time in honky tonk history. Fronted by male and female sibling vocalists, Darrel Bigelow and Brook Faulk, this band also includes the powerhouse talents of local legends Mike Trail on guitar, Lyle “Pops” Evans on bass, Russ Pfeifer on keys and Flip Perkins on drums.
