90.9 WDCB Live Holiday Jazz Night in the Brewery

** This event is open to the public and free to attend -- however, standing space is very limited, so we are offering table reservations in the Lounge (Tickets will be available for online purchase beginning Tuesday, Nov. 25th at https://skb.social/jazz ) **
Come join us on Tuesday, Dec. 9th for a LIVE Jazz broadcast on WDCB Radio! Markus Rutz's Third Coast Sounds Quartet will be performing in the Lounge at Skeleton Key and WDCB will be broadcasting it over the airwaves on 90.9FM from 7 to 8pm, with an additional set of music from 8:15 to 9pm.
While this show is free to attend, there is only VERY limited standing room available in the Lounge on a first-come, first-served basis. You can, however, reserve seating for this one-time event for $12 per person (full tables available, too!), and you can choose where you want to sit when you reserve your seats in advance.
Please note: this event is 21+, and seating for the broadcast will begin at roughly 6:15pm. We ask that guests arrive on time and be respectful of the show as we will be broadcasting LIVE over the radio!
Markus Rutz & Third Coast Sounds play seasonal and new music with generous sponsorship and broadcasting by WDCB 90.9 FM. Selections to be features include music from an August release called “Many Moons” along with the album “Moods & Spirits of the Season”.
Markus Rutz is known for bluesy, soulful trumpet stylings and gorgeous tone. Accolades and radio attention have been favorable internationally and at home nationally. As a composer Rutz brings a breadth of writing experience and diverse set of sounds to his recordings.
Original music is a feature of recordings from Markus with titles and themes in deference to people, places and unity performed with a sense of fun and playfulness.
