Hi! I'm Chelsea and I'll be facilitating this experience.
FIRST OF ALL - Parking is free and easily accessible right in front of the building. We are located near downtown Stone Mountain and since you'll be in the area, maybe you can enjoy a hike at the mountain after your experience here.
What to bring: Please bring a mat, blanket, pillow, and journal. We have additional mats, blankets, and bolsters, but want to provide as much comfort as possible during this experience, so dress cozily :)
What to expect: As you make your way inside, you'll come straight to the back of the building into a big open room where you'll see my healing instruments set up with mat placements for extra comfort. You'll find a cozy spot to setup anywhere in the room and we will get started with sharing names and intentions so we get a feel for who we're in the room with. I will explain it all and make sure everybody is on the same page with what we're doing.
What we'll be doing: I will invite about a 15 minute breathwork session which i'll facilitate with my drum. As we get into it, I'll invite somatic practices to do alongside the breath and invite in vocal expression which i'll do alongside the group. This helps to get tension out and to relax into the body on the mat. From there I will start the sound bath with my crystal quartz singing bowls and will go in and out of the bowls and silence. This is where the magic happens. After the sound bath we will gently make our way back to sitting and having time to journal about our experience and i'm there to answer any questions you may have about what you experienced. Everything is an invitation and you are not obligated to do everything, but to listen to your body and your needs. I am here as a guide.
