9/11 Memorial Stair Climb participants will pay tribute to FDNY by climbing 110 stories. Their individual tribute not only remembers the sacrifice of an FDNY, but symbolically completes their heroic journey to save others. Participants will climb 1,980 steps to equal a total of 110 stories, the same number as the World Trade Center in New York, in memory of the 343 firefighters who died in September 11.
