$9\/11 Remembrance Candle Lighting$

On September 11, candles are lit on Tallmadge Circle in memory of the firefighters, police officers, military personnel, and civilians at the World Trade Center, Pentagon, and in Shanksville, PA who lost their lives on September 11, 2001.
Volunteers are needed to help set up and light candles for the 9/11 Remembrance on Thursday, September 11. Set up will begin at 8 AM with a service at 9 AM. Immediately following the service, volunteers will begin lighting the candles. Please bring your own candle lighter if you plan to assist.
During the evening plan to visit the Circle to see the beautiful display in memory of the lives lost on 9/11. The candles will be removed on Friday, September 12 at 8 AM and assistance is needed that day as well.
