On September 11th, members of the Jefferson Fire Department will honor the lives lost by participating in a 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb.
Firefighters will climb the stadium bleachers 52 times — up and down — representing the 2,071 steps taken to reach the 110th floor of the Twin Towers.
This event is open to the public, and we welcome anyone who wishes to join us in remembrance.
What to know:
Climb at your own risk.
Wear appropriate clothing and footwear.
Bring water to stay hydrated.
Please respect the stadium and clean up after yourself.
