Join Us for a special 9/11 Memorial Ceremony
American Legion Post 45 will be honored to serve as the temporary home of the Traveling Dog Tag Memorial Wall by VAU Veterans and Athletes United from Thursday through Saturday.
This powerful memorial features a U.S. flag created from the dog tags of fallen soldiers. A nearby computer will allow visitors to search and honor the names of those who have made the ultimate sacrifice since 9/11.
On Thursday evening at 8 PM, we will hold a candlelight vigil and ceremony to remember and honor the lives lost.
This event is open to the public, and we welcome everyone to come pay their respects and reflect on the legacy of our heroes.
