About the Event:
Join us as we come together to remember the 343 first responders and 2,996 civilians who lost their lives on September 11, 2001. This powerful day of reflection and action honors their sacrifice and supports our local heroes.
Event Schedule:
8:00 AM – Beachfront Memorial Service
A solemn tribute to the lives lost, their courage, and the families they left behind.
9:00 AM – Stair Climb Challenge
Climb in remembrance; symbolically retracing the 110 floors FDNY firefighters faced at the World Trade Center. All fitness levels welcome; no gear required.
Parking available across the street at Ike’s Beach Service (800 W Beach Blvd).
Our Mission:
The 9/11 Stair Climb is more than a workout; it’s a tribute. We honor those who gave everything, and we strengthen the bonds between Gulf Coast first responders and the communities they protect. Together, we remember, we honor, and we serve.
Donation Details:
All donations benefit the Gulf Shores Fire Rescue Association, a 501(c) organization.
Donations are tax-deductible and directly support local firefighter initiatives and community programs.
Donations of $25 or more receive an event t-shirt.
