This year's event is extra special as we celebrate 20 years of Capoeira in Melbourne. Last year's event, Seguindo a Luz do Sol, was absolutely amazing thanks to all who attended, and we expect nothing less this year! We have an impressive lineup of top-tier teachers that will make this event truly epic. The standards are set high!
If this is your first time attending a Melbourne Batizado, remember to bring sunscreen, a towel, and your swimwear, as we'll be heading to the beach after the graduation. And come hungry because there will be a wide variety of delicious food available. The BBQ will start immediately after the graduation.
Our Batizado is not just for Melbourne students; it's for our guests as well! You'll have the opportunity to enjoy good capoeira, attend workshops, indulge in amazing food, and participate in three different rodas for each skill level. That's right, EVERYONE will have plenty of chances to play during this event!

► GENERAL INFORMATION:
✅Friday night roda is FREE to everyone!
✅We’ll have FREE FOOD (Limited to 200 plates).
✅Bring swimsuits and towels for the beach; we’ll be there all day long!
✅VISITORS, we can accommodate you with a place. Just let us know in advance!
✅Bring casual clothes if you plan to stay the weekend. Plenty of nightlife!
✅Saturday after party at Ember and Oak's "Aha" Patio and Lounge.
✅Workshops are $25 each.
✅Event Shirts are $25 each (Teachers free with confirmation only).
✅Full event $107 (Friday, Saturday workshops and the event shirt).
