NOVEMBER IS NATIONAL CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURE SECURITY AND RESILIENCE MONTH!
The 8th Annual Security and Risk Management Symposium is sponsored by the Pennsylvania Governor's Office of Homeland Security, and the Pennsylvania Region 13 Counterterrorism Task Force, in partnership with the Department of Homeland Security - Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), and the Western Pennsylvania All Hazards Fusion Center (WPAHFC).
THIS SYMPOSIUM ADDRESSES: Criminal activities, cyber and physical security threats in our region and globally, physical and cybersecurity countermeasures to include risk management strategies, best practices, availability of tools and resources, and insight on the protection of critical infrastructure assets - while building organizational resilience.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND: The symposium is intended for the Private Sector (Business and Industry) and Public Sector (Federal, State, Local, Tribal, Territorial), Engineers, Physical and Cybersecurity Professionals, Utilities, Emergency Management, Educators, Law Enforcement, Business Continuity/Organizational Resilience Professionals, VOAD’s, and those responsible for protecting our Nation’s Critical Infrastructure through cyber and physical security initiatives.

IMPORTANT EVENT INFORMATION:
- No cost to attend, yet advance registration is required.
- Hotel Rooms have been reserved at a discounted State Per-Diem Rate, and are available upon request.
- Continental Breakfast and Lunch is being offered at no cost to attendees, however, advance registration is required.
- Walk-in's will not be admitted on the day of the event.
- Parking is free at the event site.
- Identification is required upon check-in
- Seating is limited.
- All required information must be filled out in completion and able to be verified, or your ticket will not be valid.
- Registration will close on November 1, 2024 OR when all seats are filled. A "Wait-list" will be made available. Substitutions are not permitted, everyone must have a ticket in their own name.

Audio and Video Recording Policy
Please be advised that photographs and videos will be taken during the 8th Annual Security and Risk Management Symposium by the Symposium Planning Team Members or designees. By registering for the Symposium and participating in the sponsored sessions, and activities, as well as visiting the exhibitors, you acknowledge that your image, audio, or video recording may be captured and shared with our Event Partners. You will not be entitled to any compensation for the use of your image, audio, or video recording. Video or audio recording during any of the Symposium presentations, is strictly prohibited. All Media personnel must check in with the Governor’s Office of Homeland Security personnel located in the Junior Ballroom. Media personnel on assignment are not permitted in the Main Ballroom. This is a “no-media” event.
Service Animal Policy
We want to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees at the Symposium. As such, we kindly remind you that only Service Animals, as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, and Pennsylvania 2018 Act 118 (Assistance and Service Animal Integrity Act), are allowed inside the hotel property during the event. Please note that ‘therapy,’ ‘assistance,’ or ’emotional support’ animals do not meet the definition of Service Animals,and are not permitted.
To ensure compliance with this policy, you can be asked if your animal is a service animal and which tasks the animal is trained to perform. We understand the importance of Service Animals to their owners and appreciate your cooperation in adhering to this policy. The person who is responsible for the Service Animal must adhere to the following guidelines, and will be responsible for any adverse consequences resulting in negligence:
• The service animal must be harnessed, leashed, or tethered, unless the individual’s disability prevents using these devices or these devices interfere with the service animal’s safe, effective performance of tasks.
• The individual must maintain control of the animal through voice, signal, or other effective controls.
• The service animal must be vaccinated in accordance with state and local laws.
• The covered entity does not have to provide for the care or supervision of the service animal, including cleaning up after the animal.
