8th annual Rheam Cookie ExchangeInstead of the traditional Christmas cookie exchange I like to do a Thanksgiving cookie exchange! If you would like to attend, each person is asked to bring their favorite homemade cookie, a sign to show what kind they are and who baked them along with the recipe (quantity depends on how many are attending starting quantity is 5 dozen) and when it's time to go you will leave with a variety of wonderful cookies and the recipes. We will also have some prizes as well for the best overall, best tasting, best display, prettiest cookie, and most unique.
Children are invited to attend and bake cookies of their own if they would like, I will have a cookie decorating table set up for them as well.
Feel free to invite your friends BUT in order to leave with a platter of delicious cookies you MUST bring a platter of them as well.
RULES FOR THE COOKIE EXCHANGE!
1. All cookies should be homemade and baked, let me know asap what kind of cookie you will be bringing and I will keep this event updated with what kind will be present. No more than two same cookies will be available.
2. Please plan to bring a minimum of 5 dozen cookies
3. Arrange the cookies in a platter or small display to be shared and judged prior to our swap.
4.Bring copies of your recipe to share with the others (or a different cookie recipe if yours is a secret đŸ™‚. ) you are welcome to send it to me and I will print them out.
I'll have a set number of needed cookies and the cookie list a week prior posted for everyone.
