Please join us for the eighth annual One in Three Afternoon Tea: Linda Floyd Forum on Women’s Cancers from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 8 in Founders Hall at Charles Towne Landing. This complimentary event brings women together for a fun afternoon to share, learn and engage with each other. One in three women will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. With that in mind, we encourage you to invite two friends to learn about the latest in cancer research, prevention and treatment from MUSC Hollings Cancer Center experts. The panel will begin at 6 p.m.Our confirmed panelists include Abirami Sivapiragasam, M.D., speaking on breast cancer, Joe Delaney, Ph.D., talking about ovarian cancer, Mariam Alexander, M.D., Ph.D., providing the latest on lung cancer, Katie Schmitt, DPT, talking about Hollings’ physical therapy program for cancer patients and survivors, and Alana Rojewski, Ph.D., sharing information on smoking cessation.
