Come join us for our 8th annual Iron Homebrewer competition and charity festival hosted by the Pasco County Brewers Guild and Liquid Garage Co in Trinity! This event brings our community together each year with an opportunity to try some truly unique brews. Unlimited samples available of 40+ beers (some ciders/wines)! All tickets are considered donations that will go to charity.
Florida homebrewers will compete by brewing a beer with a randomly selected ingredient. Some examples of the random ingredients from years past are tequila, mallomars, teddy grahams, and dragon fruit. Deadline to pick ingredients is Sunday January 26, 2024! How do the homebrewers win? Judges will vote to select the top 4 beers and the overall winner will be selected by the crowd for the grand prize! There will also be a general overall crowd favorite prize, so come ready to vote and sample.

BREWERS INFO: We are changing up the ingredient draws this year. The ingredients are all given a difficulty score 1-4, with 4 being the most difficult. This year you can buy your ingredient based on difficulty:
$15 will get you an ingredient with a difficulty level of 1-2. (i.e. Donuts, Lychee, Cherry)
$10 will get you a truly random ingredient, difficulty level 1-4. (i.e. Anything goes!)
$5 will get you an ingredient with a difficulty level of 3-4. (i.e. BBQ Sauce, Garlic, Hing)
You can still buy multiple ingredients, of the same or different difficulties. There will still be an option to trade ingredients with another brewer.
We'll post the ingredients with your name on our Facebook page and send out an email. All entry fees will go towards brewer prizes. Each winner will get a prize. Please plan to bring a 5-gallon batch to serve at the event. The grand prize winner of the brewing competition will not only get a cash prize, but also get to brew a batch with the head brewer of Liquid Garage and have their beer served on tap! Lastly, the grand prize winner will get to choose a charity that the proceeds of their beer on tap go to! Note, no wild ferment / mixed-fermentation beers will be allowed to win the grand prize as the beer will be brewed on the pro system.
