8th Annual Ground Owl Day

🦉 Ground Owl Day 2026 is coming! 🌸

Join Cape Coral Friends of Wildlife on Monday, Feb. 2, 2026, from 10–11 a.m. at the Pelican Baseball Complex (4128 Pelican Blvd) as we celebrate spring and Cape Coral’s official bird—the burrowing owl!

Fox 4’s Bella Line will serve as MC, and Athene the Owl, CCFW’s mascot, will make a special appearance to “predict” the arrival of spring. 🦉✨

Stop by for fun, community spirit, and CCFW merchandise, including special Ground Owl Day and 2026 Burrowing Owl Festival T-shirts—proceeds support local wildlife conservation.
