Join us for the 8th Annual Greater Mankato Juneteenth Celebration on Thursday, June 19, at the Centennial Student Union Outdoor Mall at MNSU.This year’s theme is “Honor the Past, Fight for the Future”—a call to reflect on the legacy of Juneteenth and continue working toward equity and justice in our communities.
We’ll begin with a Freedom Walk on campus from 3:00–3:30 PM, honoring the continued fight for liberation. The celebration officially kicks off at 3:30 PM, featuring local speakers, live music, family activities, and a Black-Owned Business Expo showcasing goods, services, and creativity from across our region.
There will also be food, community vendors, and space to connect and celebrate Black freedom, culture, and resilience.
This event is free and open to all. Join us in community and celebration.
