Save-A-Pet's annual Furry Friends 5K & 6-Legged Walk will be taking place on June 21st, and will be held at the Old School Forest Preserve in Libertyville. All proceeds from the event go towards the dogs and cats at Save-A-Pet!The 5K is a timed run and is followed by the 6-legged walk/run where registrants can bring their well-behaved pets to participate. There is also a virtual run and walk option for those who do not wish to join in person or who prefer to break up the distance over multiple days.
All 5K Run/Walk participants receive a backpack with race materials, a race t-shirt, and a participation medal. Trophies are awarded to the top three males and females in each age category for the run, and to the male and female runners with the best finish times. All ages are welcome to participate!

1 Mile 6-Legged Fun Run/Walk (not timed) individual: $25
Virtual 1 Mile Walk: $25
Virtual Runner 5K Fun Run/Walk: $35
5K Run: 8:00 am
6-Legged Walk: 9:30 AM
