The 80th anniversary of the end of the Second World War is on Thursday 8 May, and to mark this important date, we will be hosting an evening of commemoration in Horsforth Hall Park. The evening will begin with a walk from the Cenotaph, outside the park, up to the bandstand where there is a programme of entertainment planned, tributes and quiet moments of reflection. The event will draw to a close after a beacon lighting at 9:30pm. We would like to invite you all to attend this very special occasion.
