Join us for an evening with a difference as we discover some sensational Independent bottlings of Single Malt alongside Independent music from the 80's. Who doesn't love a good 80's night?
The decade saw the birth of an exciting music scene in the UK with record labels such as Mute, Postcard and 4AD all becoming a force as independent labels championed the cause of lesser known bands and artists.
At the same time the major drinks companies were shuttering distilleries left right and centre and the major record labels were ignoring some of the most critically acclaimed bands in the UK. Out of this situation grew Independent music labels and Independent bottlers seeing the potential for previously oft overlooked distilleries and bands.

Out with the old and in with the new - to an extent. Innovation and shining a light on the old paved a way forward for a whole new category of whisky drinking. Single malt.
Whether you're a seasoned connoisseur or new to the world of Scotch, this event promises to delight your senses and enrich your palate. You're welcome to dress in an 80's vibe but it is not required.
A 6.00 PM start will give you the opportunity to join us for dinner after the event—either staying in The Assembly Room with your tasting party or new friends, or moving into our dining room.
This event will be held at The Haven, located in the JPNDC Brewery Complex on Amory Street in Jamaica Plain, MA, USA.
