👟 What is shuffle dance?Shuffle dance and Cutting Shapes are footwork-based styles rooted in electronic music culture. Shuffle features stomping and "shuffling" movements, while Cutting Shapes focuses on double-tempo steps and hip-twisting. In these classes, we’ll blend both styles, explore their differences, and dance to all genres of EDM.
🤓 Beginner level
This 8-week course is perfect for beginners with no prior experience:
- Week 1: Shuffle basics - Running Man & T-Step
- Week 2: T-step & variations + transitions
- Week 3: Spins, kicks and slides
- Week 4: Shuffle combos
- Week 5: Shuffle vs. shapes - shaper RM and variations
- Week 6: Cutting Shapes basics: criss-cross, charleston, scissors, W-step
- Week 7: Cutting Shapes combos
- Week 8: Shuffle & Shapes Choreography
