About this Event
As educators (teachers, child care staff, administrators, or any professional working with children) we often experience challenging behavior in our children and work hard to “fix” the current situation – to make the day-to-day bearable. Lasting behavior change, however, rarely results from those quick fixes that are tailored to that one environment or one situation.
The Regional Intervention Program (RIP) has over 50 years of experience working with families and community to address this problem and work to make a long lasting positive behavior change in our little learners. In this training, we will discuss RIP's foundational 8 Strategies that can positively address behavior no matter the situation or environment to help work on building the positive skills to help children succeed! Furthermore, we'll examine these Strategies and discuss creative ways we can individualize them to meet the needs of all children in our care.
This training is approved for 1.25 DHS (TrainTN) credit hours and 1.25 Infant/Early Childhood Mental Health Endorsement hours.
