About this Event
Phase 3: Culmination
This is an in-person event.

During Phase 3 you'll deepen your understanding of dance composition, create dances and dance studies in groups, and continue the work established in Phases 1 and 2.

There is nightly reading & writing homework during the intensive. Once registered, you'll receive information to help you prepare. At the end of each intensive, participants may register to take the optional test so we may assess their eligibility for the next phase in the program.

Schedule

Mon-Fri: Daily Class Schedule -10am to 6pm

Saturday:

  • 10am - 1pm Discussion & Testing
  • 5pm -7pm Performance Lab
  • 7pm - 9pm Hafla

*For those who are not testing, Saturday events are optional.

The primary intention is to deconstruct and examine the underlying structures of belly dance, including vocabulary, composition, technique, music, and practice.
