With Peter Martens, Chris Njapha, Dane Coetzee, Gunwoo Park, Rosamund Ender, Matthias Ender, Edward McLean, Ashlin GrobbelaarPeter Martens leads an ensemble of seven Cape cellists, including the young Korean cellist Gunwoo Park, 1st prize winner of the International Cello Competition in Italy. Cape Town soprano Frances van Vuuren performs the solo in Villa-Lobos’ fifth work from the popular Bachianas Brasileiras. This concert forms part of a series of concerts that will be recorded for www.artmusic.tv and broadcast by RSG.
