We're bringing back our most requested event (anniversary aside) for beer week, The Boss Battle! This year's loot will be even more absurd and awesome than last years!Based on the last Boss Battle, we've made some really cool improvements!
We're adding in equipment this year! Every other draw will let you get a piece of equipment to gain a special ability against the next boss.
We're also tracking damage directly through the app this year to help everything go more smoothly.
Just like in a video game, we’ve created “boss monsters” based on our seasonal beers that everyone in the tasting room will team up to defeat. Each time one of the boss monsters is defeated, everyone that participated will get to randomly draw loot (prizes) with those that did more damage getting extra loot. Just like any good video game though, the loot will vary for common/low value (stickers, magnets, low-value gift cards, random schwag from the back that Ryan digs up, etc…) to Epic or Legendary (special edition anniversary growlers, high-value gift cards, special experiences, etc…)
We've tied this into the loyalty program so that those of you that are higher levels will be able to roll better dice for the chance at dealing more damage.
With any purchase of $5 or more, you’ll roll a dice (through one of the coolest dice towers we've ever seen) to deal damage to the monster.
Each Boss monster will be alive for 45 minutes and everyone in the tasting will deal as much damage as possible to the monster. The more damage you deal the better the loot!
We'll have one person tracking damage to the boss monster while Krystina announces critical hits, remaining health, awesome loot drops, and makes bad jokes the whole night!
Once the boss is defeated, we've got heavy duty clay poker chips that correspond to loot so that you can literally dig through a bag of loot to get your prize!
